Resource Centre

The initiation of the Resource centre reflects the importance, within the AAHT, of an understanding and appreciation of Anglican Church’s role in the fight against the HIV and AIDS pandemic and many other related diseases like TB and Malaria, and we saw an opportunity to expand our reach to the wider communities through sharing knowledge and providing the space for people to learn more about the pandemic.

The Resource Centre not only makes a wealth of useful materials available to the AAHT community and schools in our area, but it provides a focus for the development of workshops, seminars, and cultural activities designed to increase awareness of HIV and AIDS and other related illnesses. It also furthers AAHT’s objectives to be a leader in research, teaching and training within the Anglican Church and to the broader community. In particular, it will help us build on our strengths in relation to the types of programmes we develop within AAHT to assist the dioceses in their work.

The resource centre forms an integral part of the programmes that exist within AAHT (Siyakha, Siyafundisa, Vana Vetu and Jonah Training) as it is the supporting reference area to work as a guide to the future and development of programmes.
