Diocese of Christ The King

The Diocese of Christ the King is a geographically minute diocese. It is located in the southern part of the national province of Gauteng, which itself covers only 1.4% of South Africa’s land but is home to over 8 million people. This is a highly urbanized area with highly developed transport and communication infrastructure. The diocesan bishop, the Rt Rev Peter John Lee, is fully engaged in the HIV and AIDS ministry of the diocese, chairing its meetings and supporting the HIV and AIDS office, parish co-coordinators and community projects.
